Our country is about to celebrate 78th independence day tomorrow with a false sense of pride.
Women are still seeking freedom to roam around even in their workplaces, hospitals, schools or neighbourhood.
Ironical, how the politicians of the state and country would promote so-called-independence, without showing slightest concern about it’s daughters.
Thanks to our strong legal system, the culprits will indeed celebrate a happy independence day tomorrow.

I have encountered office politics twice in two different companies.
Both the times, it was a female who is 2+ years senior to me and within 15 days of moving into the team.
I was new in the team and didn’t know how could I stand against her - who has made a place in the company in last 2 years.
Who would believe me?
Who would think she needs to play games on a new joiner and a junior to her?
And why won’t they trust her?
I felt like I have lost the trust even before building it.
At first they appear to be friendly, but they may push fellow women down in order to secure their own position, or to make an impression in front of top managers.
Those working in corporate might be able to relate.
Woman-to-woman abuse is one way we continue to let men rule the world.
But this post is not hust for female leaders, seniors should support their junior, not play politics. Make efforts to create a safe space.

In Class 5, Hindi teacher told us to write a letter to our best friend, asking them to visit our home during vacations.
I wrote a letter inviting Ananya, and showed it to her, waiting to see my name on her notebook.
And she showed her notebook to Kirti.
And made me realise this early, if you consider them as a friend, doesn’t mean they think the same. But sometimes we are lucky enough to find lifelong friendships.

People are happy that Long Term Capital Gains exemption limit has increased from 1 lakh to 1.25 lakh.
But, we will still pay higher taxes with higher gains :
LTCG - ₹10,00,000
Previously :
10,00,000 - 1,00,000 = 9,00,000 × 10% = 90,000
Now :
10,00,000 - 1,25,000 = 8,75,000 × 12.5% = 1,09,375
Catch - The Tax rate is also increased from 10% to 12.5%
