Sept. 12, 2024: GOOSE CREEK, S.C. Train crashes into semitruck hauling a M109 Paladin Howitzer.
No one was hurt after a train crashed into a tractor-trailer that was hauling a M109 Paladin Howitzer in Goose Creek.
The Goose Creek Police Department was notified of the crash around 12:40 p.m. Thursday on Liberty Hall Road. A ālowboy semi-truckā was struck by a CSX train, according to CSX spokesperson Austin Staton.
Witnesses said the semi truckās trailer got stuck on the railroad tracks and was unable to get out of the way of the oncoming train.
