Hey Fam! I hope this week's video encourages you all as worship leaders. Ephesians 2:10 has been on my heart a lot lately, and there's so much to pull from that verse.

In the beginning of the video I talk about how sometimes the weight of the platform can be heavy, and the consequence of that weight can cause us to feel discouraged and disqualified from being worthy of leading a congregation. But at the same time, I said that it's true - we're not worthy. We don't deserve to be able to represent a Holy and perfect God, BUT God still chooses to have us do just that. Isn't that crazy?

As a side note to the video, I want to encourage you to allow your imperfections, your downfalls, and your missteps to stir up a deeper worship inside of you instead of allowing it to stop you from worshiping. When we shift our perspective off of ourselves and our sins, but onto the Holiness and Goodness of Jesus, we should be moved to worship Him with thanksgiving! Thank God for His love and His grace!

One of my favorite things about serving on the worship team is that we have the perspective to be able to see members of the congregation lift their hands in surrender to Jesus at the end of our services - not everyone gets to see all the hands go up, but WE DO! Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that salvation is NOT our responsibility. We have a role to play in it, but we don't play the major part. When we see hands go up to signify souls coming from death to life, it's a huge honor to witness God doing what he does best. Each salvation is a miracle and a work of God. We don't play the major role, but we get to experience the celebration as if we did. How beautiful!

Hey Community! I've been sick this past week, which is why there hasn't been an upload this week, but I promise we're coming back strong next week! But I've got a question for you all! I tried a new format for the worship guitar tutorials in my last video and I'm trying it out again in this next upload. What do you think about the new format where I get straight to the play through, then do an in-depth walkthrough, and end with an encouragement/devo? Do you prefer that to the way that I have been creating tutorials? Let me know in this poll! Hope you're all having a great week. I've been missing you all so much!

Just curious where everyone is watching from! Comment the name of your church and where you're from! I'd love to be praying for you and your worship teams.
