NCT EDITOR-NIM MENTIONED MY CHANNEL NAME?? <Warning: Wall of text, kinda dumb and also emotional>
Now I know this post is so so so random TT^TT These days I've been so busy that just now I finally caught up with their latest content (Actually I still haven't watched the NCT CRIME ZONE file 2 yet so no spoiling pls γ

). There are so many things going on in just this video but somehow this Korean subtitle right here just caught my attention.
Like, first I saw the μͺΌμ½ (choco in Hangeul) and without reading the rest, it just subconsciously slipped my mind so fast that "ah they probably called our Haechan chocoball as always". You know, in multiple clips/dance practice behind the scene there were many times the editor-nim wrote Chocoball~ That's why I got used to it and didn't even realize that here they actually called him Chocopudu. And then I turned to the English subtitle like usually to catch up with the rest of the sentence, but at that moment I saw "Pudu's fierce glare" (SM's original English sub).
It took me literally 5 seconds to be like "Wait-- what??" and I immediately rewound the whole thing. It's that moment that I read the whole Korean term "μͺΌμ½ νΈλ" (Chocopudu in Hangeul). This was like-- TT^TT such a moment for me ;;;; because that may be the first and the last time the name Chocopudu is gonna be put beside him π₯Ίπ
After that, I actually had to look it up on Namuwiki and they said that common nicknames for our Haechan include Fullsun, Chocoball, and Pudu. We all know these three right? Among about 8 nicknames, there was even "Chocopoodle", referring to We go up era Haechan (as you can see in my profile picture above), but definitely no Chocopudu. When I first started this channel I struggled a lot with the name. I absolutely had no expectation to come this far & get this much support from you all, that's why I said to myself and my friend that I wanted it to be something unique, at least to be left on Youtube ^^ And the name just popped up naturally, a combination of Chocoball and Pudu.
Some of you might wonder why I have to make a fuss out of this small detail. On Youtube, until now I'm the only channel with this name. On Twitter, there are only 2-3 people with the account name like that, and K-czennies also are not that familiar with this name. The thing is that I am so happy finally our editor-nim got the idea of combination. When our Haechan looks like chocoball, he also resembles pudu and vice versa. I hope that this nickname Chocopudu itself (NOT my channel) will be more well-known because it's a loving name, full of adoration for our Haechan. And of course, it's meaningful to me, as it's now a part of my life - this channel, all the efforts to walk out of my comfort zone, and most importantly, you all ^^~
