WHAT YOU NEED TO CONSIDER BEFORE PLANNING YOUR DESTINATION WEDDING
Here are three tips to consider when planning your destination wedding abroad.
1️⃣ Location! Location!
This is the key to your dream destination wedding. Ensure it is a place you truly love and you’re excited about. This could be the first holiday you took together. The place where you met or a regular destination you always visit for your getaway.
2️⃣ Travel Arrangements for your guests. Always keep your guests in mind when choosing your destination wedding.
Is it going to be difficult to travel to and from the destination? What are the entry requirements for visitors? Do your guests need a visa/ medical certification?
All of these will be additional costs your guests may have to incur.
3️⃣ Keep the weather or season in mind. Choose a destination where you can guarantee beautiful sunshine all year round. Do your research on the forecast of that destination. Keep alert for rainy and hurricane seasons. Always have a backup plan in case of rain. Your wedding planner will have those arranged for you.
