🐺πŸ”₯ Deep dive into Werewolf Symbolism from a Jungian and ancient Christian vantage point (think St Christopher the dog-headed/half werewolf) - it's a symbolic pattern in each of our lives in fact -

But we'll also cover the connection between Arcane's Vander/Warwick and his werewolf-becoming counterpart; Sigmund from the Volsunga Saga.

We'll discuss the similarities, and show how Vander's misguided virtue led to the destruction of his family and his transformation into the Werewolf. Enjoy! watch video on watch page

This is controversial... but hey, we've got Plato, Jung and Goethe (plus a whole slew of great Christian scholars) on our side at least :D

Dug into True Symbols vs Synthetic Symbols and the metaphysics of Color Theory in this one, analyzing Arcane, a brilliantly written series. Enjoy! watch video on watch page

Arcane Season 2 was compressed but beautiful in many ways - their use of gold and solar symbolism is deep and effectively pulls back the veil a bit, giving a glimpse into the metaphysical.

Their controversial philosophy on pain and suffering will frustrate some, resonate with many, and probably confuse a lot of people too, because there's just too many puzzle pieces to put together to explain it properly. They had to crunch it all into one season. Not easy.

Anyway, a big part of the message hidden in Arcane Season 2 is that imperfection and suffering are a necessary and even beautiful part of life and humanity, and the consistent Golden Kintsugi and Wabi Sabi symbols (defined below) reinforce this idea.

If you're interested in Arcane, Jungian symbolism, the philosophy or the West and the East, and the Logos, you won't want to miss this one!

Ever wonder where Jung got the idea for shadow integration & Individuation? In this analysis, we'll go deep into those origins and the deeper psychological meaning behind the Last Supper. watch video on watch page

Apologies for the long break! I had an accident that basically obliterated my back (disc either ruptured or slipped), left me stranded in the middle of Austria alone and with no chance of being able to crawl home myself.

Was randomly rescued by a man? named Michael and was able to get an ambulance to the hospital. Couldn't get out of bed without severe (9+ level) pain and spasms (basically "cramps" on the steroid of all steroids), even after they pumped me full of their most powerful painkillers.

Anyway. It's a long story I hope to go into more detail on soon, ESPECIALLY on the philosophy and metaphysical patterns it opened my eyes to, which has somehow made all of this an actual and literal blessing.

I'm back at it now, and I'll be working hard to get the best videos possible out to you all, starting with this short piece of what I learned through this (see if you can spot the pattern! The pattern provides the best answer I've come across to perhaps the most difficult argument against belief in God, the Problem of Evil/Problem of Pain and Suffering):

It's fixed and live! The psychology of swearing (and the morality of it) is a controversial subject for many, but I try to present evidence for both sides.

J Peterson and Pageau hit it out of the park and Jung's take on using swearing in therapy is a rare and thought-provoking story. Lots of fascinating theories on the subject; I really enjoyed making this one.

That said, you can only present so much in a single video - if I've missed anything important, please share your thoughts in the comments, they're valuable in so many ways (additional insight, corrections, boosting the algorithm, furthering the conversation, etc) watch video on watch page

The video on the 7 theories of swearing was not supposed to go live yet, sorry about that -- having some technical difficulties with videopad 😬 I'll have it fixed and live ASAP though! And then we'll go back to finishing the new series that's been in the works.
