The sun did not set and we did not sleep shooting a lot of the stuff at 1am/2am it feels like a fever dream im yearning to go back to

Hallo!
At the end of Jan I was diagnosed with autism !!
Had a spin out for like 4 months and told myself I wasn’t capable (:O) came out of a sad but rlly loving bubble and realised that wasn’t true at all and that everything I want to do looked a lot like everything I have been managing for years (albeit with great difficulty at times)
It was weird because it has been a 5 year long process which has been above everything just quite lonely (I think I’ll talk about it properly on a little yt vid soon)
I’m sharing this for myself to be able to exist more openly and because I demand shame loosen its grip at least little but also because it’s beautiful and important for me to add to what autism looks like in women
Im grateful to music for allowing me to connect with people and purpose and joy and things and I am so lucky to be able to do what I have always loved doing (singing in costume)
Thank you to anyone who has ever reached out about music being understood has been life changing I hope I am able to continue making sweet sweet beats
I am so thankful for my friends for animals for drums for languages for my studio for mi mama
Autists pls reach out to me if you ever feel lonely or are in need of feeling understood

This post was genuinely almost as exhausting as the project itself lol but sincerely thank you so much for receiving my work with such kind ears and eyes. It was so special to me to make and I have been really blown away by the response to the project so thanku🤍

Filmed this during a week in between lots of intense touring and was very fried to my core
I had not managed to get a video for pacifist done in time before tour as I was just so unrealistic about how much time I had (shock????) I was v stressed
Luckily Maisy is the mothership of good ideas and Ruby acrually has a ship (boat) that she kindly let us film on
I ended up having such a lovely nice time making this why did I stress so much = life lesson in this ? Maybe but I will prob continue to stress lol
