DYGL is Tokyo-born, UK-based indie-rock band. DYGL connects the vibes of 1960s rock and 2000s garage-rock of The Strokes and The Districts; reverberated grooves, upbeat guitar fills and coarse vocals.
With debut album âSay Goodbye to memory Denâ, co-produced by Albert Hammond Jr. (The Strokes), and Grammy-winning engineer Gus Oberg in 2017, and single âBad Kicksâ produced by Rory Attwell (Palma Violets, Yuck, Veronica Falls) in 2018, 2019 looks to be DYGLâs breakout year.
âitâs like sitting in a bar and listening to a lost tape of a band you didnât hear from the â80s like, âhow did I not hear of this?ââ - Albert Hammond Jr. , The Strokes
âSay Goodbye To Memory Denâ, is a riotous trip through indie, rockânâroll and punk â all with a cheeky wink to some of the â00s finest bands. - Leonie Cooper, NME
These guys had the swagger, the style, and the groovy hooks to answer the musical question âIs this it?â with a resounding YES all over again. - Lyndsey Parker, Yahoo Music
