This is going to be a little long, so bear with me! I know in my last post that I made quite a few months ago that I said I wasn't going to quit this channel, but as I'm sure you can tell--I have.
I decided to stop doing my Bonanza stuff back in September, but I got so busy that it slipped my mind to share it here. And I'm terribly sorry for that.
I've been *extremely* busy with my writing, and it has taken up practically all my time. When I'm not writing, I'm editing, planning out the next step in publishing, marketing on Instagram, trying to spend time with my family, or just attempting to come up for air. Cuz let me tell you, self-publishing is a ton of work!! But I'm super proud of what I have accomplished!
My debt novel, Before It's Too Late, comes out on February 9, 2023, and I'm so excited! Bonanza and Little House on the Prairie were by far my biggest influences with this novel, which is a historical western romance set in Northern Nevada during 1865.
How much did it influence the story though? Well, I slipped in Little Joe, Roy Coffee (under different names), Mitch from Between Heaven and Earth, and the livery owner in The Hayburner, plus one of the characters was inspired by Marie Cartwright. (Estelle Fabre is a French Creole dressmaker from New Orleans who knows how to fence with an epee.) And then the parents of my female protagonist are heavily inspired by Charles and Caroline. (Just imagine a John Schnieder version of Charles, and Reese Witherspoon with hazel eyes and dark hair as Caroline.)
On top of my novel releasing at the beginning of February, it's currently available for preorder. For any of you interested, I'll leave the links after this paragraph. The eBook preorders are available until February 8th, while the signed paperbacks are only available until December 31st (and they only ship to the US...international shipping is ridiculous, and it will be the only time I have signed copies available).

I currently have my second novel written and am about to start the publishing process, so any preorders are extremely helpful. If I don't sell enough copies, whether that be preorders or after release, I won't have the funds necessary to release the second book in the series. (I just thought I'd be a little honest with y'all π
)

Hello! I know that I haven't posted a new video in almost a month and I want to apologize. I've been extremely busy since I'm in the process of self publishing my very first novel. It's been taking up a lot of my time so I hope you understand. Some of the videos I've posted take me multiple days to make and I currently don't have the time for that. I'm not sure when I will be able to post again but I just want you all to know that my absence doesn't mean I'm quitting this channel. Bonanza is still very special and important to me so quitting is the last thing I'd do.

Exactly a year ago today I started this channel! If someone would have told me that it would grow this much, I wouldn't have believed them, lol! For something that I started on a whim, it's turned into one of my greatest joys. Thank you everyone who has subscribed, liked, commented, and watched my content! Over this year, I've learned more about video making and tried to improve my content (if you've watched my first videos, you know what I'm talking about). I'm very glad you all have stuck around through the rough videos, thank you!
