GP is a member of The Forty Five Kings Collective
General P and DJ Ano (solo reggae DJ since 1997) decided to create in 2001 the first Dunkerque Sound System : the Revolution Sound. It was their shared passion for Jamaican music that pushed them to get more involved. The Revolution has performed with many artists (warm up or backing) like Lone Ranger, Echo Minott or Big Red, and also alongside Sound Systems recognized as Soul Stereo, Guiding Star and their friends of the One Vibe. DJ Ano and General P have a unique and original vibe influenced by hip-hop culture. Their sound ranges from roots reggae to dancehall complemented by scratches and dubplates which only the duo has the secret !
