an update to my last post
i got in touch with my music distributers to add my currently available catalogue into the content id system so at the very least i am still able to make money off of my personally uploaded music videos. a side effect of this is, well, that it's in the content id system. meaning that content uploaded *not* by me containing my music may also be impacted by this.
since the beginning of dandelion hands, i've had an extremely lax stance on other people reuploading my songs onto this platform (whether it be fan made music videos, amvs, song + still image, etc). i have always viewed it as a positive and sacred thing, and because of that i want to continue that very hands off approach.
if you have uploaded a video (no matter what the subject matter or context is) that contains my music, and a content id match is causing a copyright claim that's making you lose the money you would be making off the video, please get in touch with me (dandelionhands.com contact form). depending on the situation, i will get in contact with my distributers again to release "my share" of the revenue. i don't want to step on the toes of any content creators (especially my own fans) and i hope you can understand that the actions i have taken here were not done with the intention to inconvenience anyone.

still not sure what this is all about but i guess i can no longer make money on youtube. none of the ads that run on any of my videos support me (feel free to use a certain kind of blocker, they're gonna run ads whether i want them to or not). g**gle has been trying to completely demonetize me for years at this point without giving me any kind of concrete reason why (like when they took down dhid!!v2 on g**gle pl*y suddenly and with no warning or acknowledgment which caused it getting taken down everywhere and starting a frustrating 6 months to get it back up). pretty unfortunate that if i was "big" or had some insider friend, these things would all be easily fixed. instead a multi billion dollar corporation steals pennies from the little guy because who cares, right?
if you want to support me, stream my music on spotify or apple music (or whatever other streaming services its on). get a t-shirt or something (merch link is on the dandelionhands.com page). thank you for always being there for me and showing me love i wouldn't and couldn't do all of this without you.
little-to-no new content will be posted here in the future. not sure where i'm going to post new music videos but i guess we'll figure it out in time.

not sure what this is all about, but if my channel suddenly disappears, it wasn't me.
i saw a couple other people get hit with something similar for no reason, but i don't know if anyone has had any luck getting this all reversed.
