My name is Dave Sincox a long time resident of New Jersey. The ocean has always been a part of my life, my dad being a avid fisherman I was always on a boat in his free time. On my 10th birthday I got my first surfboard and since then I have never looked back on surfing. It’s always been a activity that has always gotten most of my attention. But on my 31st year of surfing I am after some new sensations in the water and the idea of surf foiling came to mind. For me personally it reminds me of things that I used to do when I was younger. I miss the feeling of carving on a snowboard, also skating transition and I just want to start from scratch in a new activity. So I am throwing all my experience in surfing out the window and inviting you to The Lift Journal which is a session by session record of my progression in foiling from a beginners perspective. Sharing the highs and lows of my experience first hand.
