Got a new panel! Shocker right? Well actually, this one is pretty special. From first glance, it looks like another simplex 2001. However it is actually much rarer. This is an Autocall MDK from the late 1980s. Has 16 zones and 4 nacs with plenty of space for expansion. I did get lucky in salvaging this system as well as some of the devices over the weekend. However, it obviously needs work. I have started a video where I plan to document my progress in restoring this panel back to its original condition. This isn’t something I’ve really done before so I thought I would bring you guys along with me to see how it turns out. Stay tuned.

Today marks the completion of my simplex 4100+ build. Being my largest panel, it was actually my quickest build since I got the guts back in September. Hopefully will be finally getting a cabinet for the 4020 as well in the next couple weeks so I will make a post with them together once it arrives.
There will be a delay before a video of the 4010es comes out. I am having a small problem with it that’s preventing me from downloading a new job. Hopefully it’s only a small fix and I can have the video up before the new year. However if it requires a cpu replacement, there likely won’t be any video on it for the foreseeable future until I start working again in the spring.
