Hi guys! I just wanted to let you know that Potholder #8, which was scheduled to be released today, will now be released next week on Wednesday, October 9th.

I’ve been sick the past few days, so decided to push the release date back a week. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this causes, but thank you for your patience and understanding. I hope you all have a wonderful week. ❤️

Hi guys! It’s time for our fourth potholder pattern: the Lacy Dainty Potholder. This potholder uses the spider stitch, which is similar to the moss stitch in that each stitch is crocheted in a chain-space. If chain-spaces aren't your thing, then stay tuned for Potholder #5, where there will be no chain spaces. 😃

Hi guys! Our third potholder pattern is here. Introducing the Summer Sunsets Potholder, featuring the moss stitch. One of the greatest things about this stitch is that it pairs so well with variegated yarn. The more colourful the yarn, the better. You can also make this in a soild colour or add stripes, and it will look just as pretty. 😃

Hi guys! I just wanted to keep you updated on tomorrow's pattern. It will still be released tomorrow (July 24th), but it probably won't be available until the evening (5 or 6pm EST).

I apologize for the delay, but I had an unexpected busy week, and I'm running a little behind. Enjoy the rest of your day. :)

I'll make a post here to let you know when it's available!

The schedule for this year's CAL has been decided. Thank you to everyone who voted - I really appreciate your feedback! 😃

It was a close one - 185 to 114 - but the winner is "every two weeks". This means, the CAL will run from Wednesday, July 10 - December 11, with a new potholder being released every second Wednesday.

The only exceptions are the first two potholders, which will be released one week apart. These two potholders are considered a "prequel" to the CAL because they will help us learn the basics, before we build upon these skills in the crochet-along.

I will see you all on Wednesday, July 10th, for our first potholder pattern!
