Welcome to the newest YouTube Channel - just launched today, 16th May 2023, The Last Homely Garden, a place for me to share all my gardening adventures! Planting, weeding, harvesting, eating! There is so much going on in my garden that I want to share with you all. I couldn't do any of it without the wonderful garden team at Heritage Country Gardening - Adam, Arran and the Team are helping me transform my wild and unruly garden into a haven for wildlife, bees, flowers, vegetables and ....me! I have just come back from my lovely Printers and I've seen the 2023 Calendar. I love it! Many different images of the inside and outside of The Last Homely House with lots of space to write important dates.If I could sum it up in one word only, it would be COLOURFUL!
I'm wondering how many to ask them to print? They will be £12.00 each and will ship in October.

Here are the chairs from today's video. You can decide which is your favourite here. 
If you are inspired to knit socks for your chair legs, and why wouldn't you? well, here is the pattern.
Use some scrap lumpy wool or hold two strands together to make it thick enough. Use size 5mm dpns. Cast on 16 stitches and arrange round three needles, knit and knit until it's long enough and cast off. With a tapestry needle thread all the stitches through and tie off firmly. Pack something into the end, scraps of quilt batting, a bit of stuffing, anything. That's it. It's hardly a pattern really. Off you go.....
