I did it! I now have the Pitts fuselage primed and painted and ready to rebuild. This was extremely difficult to paint due to having to maneuver my large paint gun in and around the tubes. There's a couple of runs which is OK because once the airplane is built and covered no one will ever see them. I thinned the paint a little too much and I also had to spray it all in one coat. I do have to touch up the very top of the front cubane strut because after I mixed the paint (which only has a 1 hour pot life) I realized I needed to hang the front of the fuselage a different way. You can see I just have a chain wrapped around the struts. So once this paint is cured, I'll remove it from the chain and touch up that last part.

As I start putting the Pitts back together, I really wanted to change the paint scheme just to have something different. But I just can't come up with anything I like better. I mean, LOOK at this thing! It's beautiful!!
