Meeting my Guruji Kamanashish Bhowmik after 20 years was an incredibly memorable evening.
Back in 2005, I was performing in a singing competition where he happened to be present. He noticed my singing, was impressed, and asked if I had any formal training in music. When I replied that I hadn’t, he gave me his number and said, “I will help you learn music.”
That day marked the beginning of my musical journey under his guidance. Everything I am today is because of his invaluable teachings. I am deeply grateful to him for everything he has done for me.
Now, after 20 years, I am excited and nostalgic to perform at our institute, Panchajanya DURGAPUR. This moment feels like coming full circle, and I can’t wait to showcase my music in front of my Guruji once again.
