Hey everyone! Got a few lil updatess :)
First of all, I've been having heaps of fun continuing to develop my game, Plant Tales. So much fun in fact, that YouTube has sorta taken the back seat during this time - so I apologise for the lack of uploads. But fear not, because I have begun working on the next devlog and I'm so excited to show you all the progress!
If you want to see more updates in the meantime, feel free to check out my Bluesky account where I post more WIP stuff.

Thank you all for the insane support on my vids btw, it means a lot! <3
And lastly, here's some screenshots

Over the past week I had heaps of fun making a silly little game for Acerola Jam 0! It is a simple game where you follow the movements of these lil creatures to avoid being found that you aren’t one of them.
This game jam was a great opportunity to try out aspects of game dev that I am less familiar with, e.g. sound effects and level design. I also implemented a pause menu for the first time, which was actually surprisingly easy with Godot! Excited to be able to apply this new knowledge to my main project sometime.
If you wanna check out the game I made, you can download and try it for yourself here jess-hammer.itch.io/a-gnormal-journey
It is available for Windows and Mac - turns out Godot 4.2 Mono cannot export games for the web 🥲
