Last night I finished the last essay I needed to write for my undergraduate degree - on fan production practices in the Warriors and Wings of Fire fandoms, especially in YouTube communities! Unfortunately my course did not have ethics clearance to involve research participants or I would have loved to incorporate interviews with other people in the fandoms into the paper. Instead, I used publicly available fan videos, tweets, and fanfiction to support my claims.
I might consider turning it into a video essay of some sort, since it's so relevant to my work here! I've got one more project to finish up and a library school application to work on before I start thinking about that, though. Folks, the grind never stops... And don't forget at university they will let you research literally whatever

Catabolic Seed was my last outlying MAP part, so after Art Fight ends I think most of my art time will end up devoted to a short Moonwatcher PMV I've had in the works for a while now :-) Stay tuned if that interests you, I have a lot of PMV ideas on the docket that I am excited to work on eventually!
