This is probably one of the most important videos i've made. I just wanted to speak out on the racism and homophobia. Had I stayed in the country of my birth, I could be put in jail for my sexuality. When I was young my cousin told me that if anyone she knew came out as gay she would never speak to them again. At the time I disagreed with her and said I wouldn't care (I hadn't even come to terms with my own sexuality). I plan on adopting children in the future but it's literally illegal for me to do that in my home state if I was in a same sex relationship. This is just my experience and other have been through worse. I find it irresponsible and insulting to see vegan creators try and draw parallel between vegans being made fun of, as someone who is vegan i've heard the jokes, and people going through actual sturgess because of their race, sex, religion, or any other identities. It's very harmful to these groups to have people like that vegan teacher and unnatural vegan make a case for "vegan phobia" as being an actual issue. watch video on watch page
