oloriatuwatseiii Over the weekend, the Ugborodo community in Warri South West Local Government Area had the honor of hosting His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR and myself. As the community prepared to pass on their palace watch duties to the next community, Eghare Daniel Uwawah, the Eghare-Aja of Ugborodo, along with community elders, youths, indigenes and non-indigenes warmly welcomed the King and his entourage.
The Olu of Warri praised the community's leadership and acknowledged the progress they are making in community building. He also expressed his commitment to building an enviable community that will be a pride of all and cause those in the diaspora to look inward and become contributors in the development of Ugborodo community.
The monarch recognized the challenges the community faces, including land erosion due to climate change, and called on relevant authorities to provide sustainable shoreline protection to prevent further losses.
Further to this, His Imperial Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR also made an historic visit to Ugbegungun community, where he expressed his happiness and appreciation for their peaceful coexistence. He promised the community that they would receive all the compensation they were due.
