"Akwaaba" (pronounced Ah-Kwah-bah) - A Twi word that is spoken by the Akan tribe of Ghana. A greeting that translates to WELCOME. It is a greeting synonymous with Ghanaian's and this forms the foundation for how everyone is treated when coming to the mat to practice. All are welcome.
