Finitribe’s Sheigra receives expanded digital release, available now on all platforms.
Released on 10th of April 1995 by London Records, it followed their critically regarded 1992 album An Unexpected Groovy Treat, representing a shift into deeper trance and techno territory.
A seminal release in the UK electronic scene, the album marks a shift from their earlier industrial roots to deeper, more atmospheric techno and ambient influences. Blending tribal rhythms, lush synth textures and cinematic production, the album was influenced by Scotland’s remote Sheigra peninsula. With standout tracks like “Brand New” and “Love Above,” it became a cult favourite among progressive electronic fans and DJs alike.

Hothouse Flowers’ 4th studio album Born gets an expanded treatment, available now all digital platforms. Featuring bonus tracks and demo versions alongside the classic album, it represents a fearless leap into groove-driven soundscapes, where Celtic soul and instrumentation meet loops, beats, and layered production. Originally released in 1998, it’s a bold reinvention that still holds true to the band’s emotional core.
“The songs were written with no time-pressure involved,” says Peter O’Toole. “It was a big open-ended journey that we were on, so therefore we explored various different types of sounds and we ended up with a selection of one’s which we felt worked best. We spend a lot of time working with loops and things, so you’re automatically going to go somewhere else with it” (Hot Press, 1998)
