Today is not just any day, it is a special day, because on January 16, 1996, 29 years ago, one of the biggest stars in music was born, Jennie Kim.
Happy birthday Jennie! You deserve all the good things in the world, you are amazing! A beautiful, talented, charismatic, funny, cute, sexy, famous idol... you are one of the few who can be all of these things.
On January 16, 1996, a little girl named Jennie Kim was born in Cheongdam-dong, South Korea. Little did they know that she would become a big star in the future. At the age of 10, this little girl traveled with her mother to Australia and New Zealand, and when they arrived in New Zealand her mother asked her if she would like to live there, and she said yes. This little girl grew up, and when she turned 15, she was going to go on an exchange program to the USA. She already knew the school, the place where she was going to stay, etc., but when she returned to New Zealand she realized that she didn't want to move and start all over again, that what she really wanted was to be a singer. Then she auditioned for YG Entertainment in 2010 and passed! So she had become a trainee, gone through many hard times, and made great friends. In 2016 she debuted in the group known as BlackPink! Since then she has achieved a lot with the group, attracting many fans and getting a lot of attention, unfortunately she also attracted people who didn't want the best for her... but she was strong, and achieved many things! For example: Being the first Korean soloist to have a song for 15 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, being the first Korean soloist to win a platinum record in the United States, being the first female K-pop soloist to top the Billboard World Digital Songs chart in the United States, having her "Solo" music video reach a billion views on YouTube, receiving several awards including Best Digital Song at the 34th Golden Disc Awards, being the most followed Korean person on Instagram... among many other things! In short, she is amazing!
Jennie, thank you so much for existing, I really love you very much, I hope you have all the best in your life! Happy birthday!
