It has already been a year since I started writing the song: "Healing myself".
It was a casual Saturday afternoon and I was doing my chores while listening to some music and singing. At that moment I felt as if something was pulling me to sit down on my sofa and once I did I stopped listening to the music and started singing the chorus melody of "Healing myself". The thought came to my mind that I need to write this melody down on my phone. I quickly grabbed my phone, opened the voice recorder and I recorded everything. It was so hard because by the time I grabbed my phone I had almost forgotten the chorus! Later, word by word, I slowly created the song's story. While writing the song I tried to use specific words and phrases to create an emotional atmosphere for the listener.
It was a special experience to write, record and listen to the final version of the song. Throughout this journey I kept asking myself "Am I really able to write a song?".
Even though I was facing a lot of trails at the time I STILL DID IT! This has been the biggest project of my life!
I want to say Thank You to my family, friends, and the people who lent a hand in creating this song. I especially want to give a big Thank You to You, the listener. I am so happy to have so many fantastic people around me! Thank You! I want to thank Marzena and Rajmund for the songs statue — it will always remind me this great life experience.
