STHIRAM स्थिरम् - This is a word that can be understood in many ways. Stability does not just mean stopping. It is not necessary to stop all the movements of your body. It is impossible because if all the movements of the body stop, the body will start to deteriorate and its existence will be in danger. Being stable is also an action, but it is a subtle action where physical activity slows down so much that it seems as if the body has become stable and stopped in one place. The stability of the body is not a physical effort, it is a state of mind where the mind becomes alert to subtle actions and breaks away from external activities because the more the mind is focused on external activities, the more effective the physical activities will be.
In the realm of yoga, one may frequently encounter this term. Our persistent endeavor is to bring the body to a halt, yet have you ever observed that when attempting to do so, the body becomes rigid and unyielding? Since it is impractical to completely cease the body’s movements, if you slightly adjust your approach, you may perceive a sense of stillness (not fully seize ) within your body. To achieve this, it is essential to concentrate on the subtle transformations occurring within the body while being in ASANA and direct your thoughts towards them. Through this practice, you will attain a state where you can discern all the subtle alterations taking place within the body, allowing you to remain grounded in the present moment. Upon reaching this state, you will come to realize that your entire being is comprised of the five elements, which serve as the fundamental building blocks of nature and you started evolving yourself to those elements. This is the stillness of your body when your body attentiveness comes back to its source.

Currently, I am situated in Bali overseeing a yoga teacher training program on this enchanting island. This marks the inaugural yoga course arranged by ​‪@yogavidyaschool221‬ and we are eagerly looking forward to future endeavors. Today's thought - There are no two ordinary holes (nostrils) in your body. The cosmic powers flow through both of them. While an ordinary person is still ignorant, a yogi balances himself in both worldly and spiritual life through these powers. You should know that the air flowing in your right nostril regulates the fire element present in your body. So whenever you feel weak or scared, by regulating the air flowing in the right nostril, you can come out of this darkness. Therefore, every person must understand that through pranayama, you can find solutions to various problems in life. It is not just a subject of practice, it is a discipline that first destroys diseases from the body, and then destroys sins committed in the past.
