I ran an SEO experiment where I increased my CTR from 0% to 2.1% by making one simple change that took less than 10 seconds.
I love to run SEO experiments because I learn so much from them every single time.
In this case, I had a blog post that was getting some clicks but not performing well enough, and it still has potential today.
But by simply changing the blog post's title, I managed to increase the CTR and the number of clicks.
All I did was include a number in the title.
My title before was something like: [Place] in [Month]: Exciting Things To Do
I changed it to: [Place] in [Month]: 7 Exciting Things To Do And Experience
Sometimes, it doesn't require a lot, but it confirms my thesis in this case.
In many cases, numbers do work wonderfully in titles.

One of the things I've been focused on lately is to learn one new thing per weekday.
I'll share my summary here for this week.
It's so rewarding to write down what you learn for reflection.
I can highly recommend it.
1. Focus on mobile first
Google has been 100% mobile-first for some months, making me change my mindset to focus on mobile-first for my websites and desktop secondary.
Check your Analytics to confirm you see more mobile visits than desktop.
2. Coffee grind size
Yes, I'm getting into coffee, and did you know that the finer your grind size is, the more flavor you get out of the coffee?
But be careful not to overdo it, as the coffee will turn bitter.
3. New listicles format
I saw an article from Forbes for listicles, and I really liked that format.
Quick recap: Add a filter at the top of your content, list the items so it's easy to scroll, and add your content at the bottom of the article.
4. Wet your coffee filter before you add your coffee.
The filter will absorb the first drops; you want that to be water instead of your coffee.
Small tip but super cool 🙌
5. Analyze YouTube videos
I've learned that people can drop off your videos for as little as wrong words such as "so".
I'm analyzing my videos much more, and you should, too.
Find similarities, and correct them 🙌
This is a mix of everything I find interesting.
If you're into SEO, I share weekly actionable SEO tips that you can implement in minutes.

Hi everyone, no video today, unfortunately. I've been sick the last week, and I'm doing everything I can to get back on top.
I'm slowly getting there, and hopefully, I'll have an awesome video ready for you next week.
Take care 🙌

Which video format is your favourite?
Today I released a review of Sniply, and I tried a different view style where everything flows more together in a natural way instead of before, where it's divided into sections like pricing, alternatives, pros&cons and so on.
Let me hear which format you like the most.
If you have any feedback for me, please feel free to leave a comment. I would love to hear from you.
