Hey guys! Lordy here! Man it's been a while to be on this page and interact with you guys again, in this post, I'll try to update what I've been doing in this almost-a-year hiatus:
1. Rethinking about Object show:
To sum up, I wasn't satisfied with what I've been doing with, either Object shows or other videos. Here are some reasons why: (1) Drawing often doesn't match my expectations. Believe it or not, before reaching to MediBang recently, the only sources I've been using in drawing are PowerPoint and Canvas. I'm not good at drawing at all, and using mouse on laptop and fingers on Phone really limited the scene or background I want to depict, so most of the time I just either search for free backgrounds on Canvas or make one on PowerPoint with my lack of skills and picture interpretations. (2) A whole new perspective. Long story short, I've been changing the way I look at this world, or just the environment around me, though it contradicted a bit to my early videos, it made me feel delighted and had spiritual abundance(sounds vague, I know). Which provoked me even more about what I want to manifest in this channel in the later days. (3) Recovering from the trauma and unsatisfaction. I had terrible memories from this channel, for the reasons that don't involve in any of you lovely fans, thanks to the whole new life and wonderful friends I've met in college, the scar was able to heal day by day. Plus, I don't really have positive memories about a few creators I've met on discord or OSC, but I think that my immaturity took part so that's why. Unsatisfaction is that because of the frequent changes of the YouTube policy, I was forced to sacrifice, aka deleted some of my videos. What's worse, it still hasn't reached their expectations, which made me even more frustrated.
2. Learning from college, also helping myself think in an all-around perspective:
After entering college, I have met many great friends, and most of them are really versatile, which blew my mind and reminded me to do better and better, especially the ones that know how to use their iPad to depict. after the "even the beginners of AI can do well" concept dawned on me, I came back to this, and think what I want to present in this show? If I want to present "this", what am I going to do? What tools will I need? Such as these questions running in my mind helped me to look at this systematically. It's something like this from my friends gave me hope.
Thanks to all sorts of wonderful fate, I have the courage to come back, can't say that I'm ready or feeling confident enough, after all, I'm still pretty awful at drawing(And I still only draw on papers cuz I don't have electropainting pen XD). But I hope that I can continue to bring you guys any sort of happiness, just like what you've been telling me in the comments!
