PRAISE GOD FOR HE IS GOOD!
Guys, when I broke my leg in May and saw the bill that we received, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a tad bit overwhelmed. My wife and I had just moved to a new state amidst a lot of life changing events, took a significant pay cut to enter into ministry again, and then WHAM - My leg broke.
Even crazier is soon after that my wife and I found out we were expecting a little girl - WHICH IS AWESOME.
This, along with some issues with our house, had my wife and I feeling uneasy about the future. However, we serve a God of miracles and provision - and He works through His people.
Due to much of your generosity, the financial assistance provided by the hospital, and a recent donor - the rest of my bill will be covered IN FULL.
I cannot begin to express our gratitude to you all. Our family was in need and many of you provided. I believe this is what it means to be the church - to bear one another's burdens. It's always humbling to receive such generosity (bringing literal tears to my manly face) but it's also challenging to be sure my family takes the opportunity we've been given and keep on giving for the Kingdom.
I would like to thank you all from across the globe who helped us - we couldn't have done it without you. May the Lord bless and keep you all.

HEALTH RECOVERY UPDATE:
For those of you who know, my leg was shattered in May having my tibia and fibula needing to be put back together earning me a rod, a plate, 15 screws and months of recovery (it still is messed up).
However, at the time the I didn't have insurance (I was getting it in less than 30 days). This means the hospital was going to charge me $65,000+ but because I didn't have insurance, they reduced it to $24,000. Well, we were able to raise about $17,000. I also submitted for financial assistance. Upon reviewing my case, the hospital has chosen to charge us $4,366.99 ADDITIONALLY to the $17,000.
This means they gave me a tiny break in financial assistance, but we still owe $4300. If you could once again share this link around and anyone who would like to give can. We really appreciate it. Needless to say, we were NOT expecting this expense when we moved here nor did we expect to be having a baby in February. Thanks and God bless!

To all you who pre-ordered my book "Crushing the Great Serpent" - here's an update!
My giant boxes were supposed to arrive last week on October 1, but they didn't arrive and then I was updated it would arrive October 3rd. Then the 4th. Then I was just notified "Your delivery is running late" (thanks, I hadn't noticed). I have been in contact with Amazon's customer service every day since.
I was told that it's running behind (especially the hardcovers) but assured they were still "in transit" but if I hadn't heard back by the 14th to contact them. Then I was told today that if I hadn't received it by the 28th to notify them. I was told by one person my package "might" be lost, then another said it "is" lost, then the manager said "it's not lost it's just running late." As you can tell, I'm getting all sorts of mixed messages.
My assessment is that the package is on its way and the associates were just reading off the screen. My author copies were running late as well, and they showed up days after they were supposed to - so I'm guessing this is the same way - I'm just annoyed. Please note though that you will get your signed copy and it's my goal to ship them out the moment I receive them. I have about 100 books to mail out, so it'll be WILD.
I'm supposed to receive a ton of paperbacks TOMORROW, but I also don't want to hold my breath since this entire process has been slower than expected. I ordered these almost a month ago so I'm obviously annoyed. Apparently ordering these on the back end is NOT a speedy process. Apologies to everyone - I'm on top of it and praying they arrive this week.
