While the arrival of these parts heralds a short break from YouTube (believe me, it's gonna be as physically short as possible) to upgrade my rig, I'm EXTREMELY stoked to supercharge my channel and take my content to the bleeding edge of what a single dude talking to a camera can.
Yes I know there's faster cards and CPUs, this combo is absurdly good for the price. And The budget wasn't unlimited, took me 3 years to save enough money up for a different project, that's being diverted to this.

Hey all. I don't know if anyone cares or not, but had some issues with my rendering for the video that was supposed to release today (Christmas Gift Guide for Gun/Gear Guys Part 2). I'm gonna hopefully have it re-rendered and out today (probably very late), if not then tomorrow.
I've missed a video release on a Monday due to a YouTube scheduling error only once in the 8 months I've been doing this, but until the new PC is built, I am at the whims of my machine and EXTREMELY slow internet. It may cause some delays until I can get the funds together for that new PC, hopefully within the next few weeks.
Again, most likely no one is bothered by me being late 24 hours, but I know; and it does bother me. I appreciate the support, and patience. And I hope the new rendering machine will greatly increase my turnaround and ability to make videos.

I had a discussion with a buddy and was curious about what are practical shooting distances to actually attempt or train at, and if showing accuracy or testing a firearm at 25 meters (27 yards / 82 feet) was unrealistic for videos.
So, I figured It would be interesting to ask, primarily for handgun / pistol training, what distance typically does your training happen at? Are you only training under 21 feet?
Are you shooting the maximum length of your home or something like parking lot distance?
Do you do 3 gun style runs and change it up frequently throughout the course of the day and move around distances, or targets and use barricades?
Are you a bench-rest shooter? Or an indoor shooter and are limited by the distance of your lane?
Are you standing back so far you cannot see the target and lobbing them in?
Is your pistol even a primary focus when you're on the range and you're just mainly training rifle?

I'm not gonna lie, I had no idea this was a feature to post on YouTube until about a week ago, and now I feel like an idiot. I've been looking for ways to connect with and address my subscribers in ways that weren't in DM's, talking over Discord and just replying to comments, which I apologize for not being super great about keeping up in the last week. Been one of those weeks.
Just wanted to quickly say thank you to everyone, and to all the new subscribers, I appreciate your comments, questions and feedback, it's fuel to keep going and figure this whole thing out. Gonna post a couple sneak peeks here over the next week and try and do more interactive stuff here in the community page before pushing new videos out, as well as a poll for what the giveaway for 500 or maybe 1,000 if we get there should include.
