I've just uploaded the first video in my now How to Silversmith video series! this first set is 13 videos long and takes you through the basic tools and safety, the basic process of making a ring, creating a bezel and setting a cabochon. It also covers making a solitaire ring for a faceted gemstone and setting the stone. Finally, it teaches how to create droplets, and oxidize. The last video is a challenge to those watching that uses the skills taught so far.

I am a self taught silver and gold smith and as I progress through my learning curve in the jewelry profession, I'll occasionally upload videos about the things I learn. I've been practicing jewelry making now since 2010 and while I' leased with how much I've learned, there is always still more!
