I wrote Wildflower last summer. It completely reignited my passion for songwriting and story telling again; I knew that I needed to release it in the spring time so I waited. I’ve been patient. Ever since then I’ve written so much more but I must pace myself. I have so much within me that I want to give.
To me Wildflower represents growth, intuition, trust, guidance, discovery and self love. It serves both as a love letter to self and reminder that things do get better. But it’s also a reminder that the grass is plenty green where we already stand (the present). My hope is that it helps the ears that come across it in one way or another.
