The Philatelic Society of Lancaster County (Pennsylvania) is an award-winning, non-profit community organization dedicated to promoting stamp collecting as a hobby for education and fun, from the teenager to adult, from the beginner to postal historian, serving members from South Central Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and all states and countries beyond.
The PSLC began as the Lancaster Stamp Club in March 1923 with fifteen charter members meeting in the Science Building at Franklin & Marshall College. The PSLC is the James Buchanan Chapter of the American Philatelic Society (APS) #173 and Chapter #118 of the American Topical Association (ATA).
