I recently had the extremely good fortune to find a complete album of the Argentine Rhythm Style Series! Recorded in Buenos Aires in 1936, it's a fascinating snapshot of the jazz groups and singers playing there. The full playlist is now online for you to enjoy: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLt...

I have some exciting news! After being contacted by the family of a member of Oscar Rabin's band, I have just borrowed from them a set of eight 12" Permarec sides to transfer which make up an entire 45 minute mock radio broadcast by the band! Several of the sides were never recorded by the band commercially. I can't wait to share them with you all.

I was really looking forward to bringing this treat to you - one of the rarest and hottest Piccadilly sides destroyed due to a clueless eBay seller who didn’t pack it properly. Absolutely gutted at how it arrived!

Proud to say some records from my collection along with some transfers I did are appearing in this fascinating new release - a set of songs exploring the relationship between football and music from the interwar period. Go look it up! veacvaults.bandcamp.com/releases

Hello subscribers!

I'd like to hear your thoughts on something. Putting videos together is very time-consuming. For context, after a 20 minute transfer and restoration process, it can take another 20-30 minutes to find the photos and put it together, sometimes longer.

If I were to do label-only videos, the whole process could be sped up and I could give you more uploads a week - there's nearly 3,000 discs in my collection and growing.

So what would you prefer?

Thanks as ever for subscribing!
