Storytelling has always been in my blood. I loved writing stories and I loved drama which led me to film acting at a young age. Getting older, I realized that Iād prefer to tell my own stories over following screen scripts. Poems piled up on my desk, arranging words comes easy to me and gives me a satisfying feeling. But what really made me happy and feel alive was listening to music. I loved singing along and had voice lessons which were fun. Inevitably I started to write my own lyrics and melodies.
I pitched some of my songs to Houstonās grammy-winning producer Billy Dorsey Jr. who liked what he heard. We decided to produce an EP together.
Being in the studio, talking to musicians, creating beautiful music together feels like home. There are so many songs in my head that I want to share!
I know that my voice is rather unique, and Iām told that is a good thing. Letās see where it leads me.
