Happy Halloween! π Gardening in zone 6 can be tricky sometimes. In our new video, we debate whether or not to harvest everything just yet. It's been so warm out (like today, 75Β°F | 24Β°C). #trickortreat π»

We've been growing them since 2021, and we finally got a harvest from them this week! Any guesses??? Here are some of the last summer harvests, and the first fall harvests, one shows what we were finally able to harvest yesterday. π

Technical difficulties are preventing me from being able to upload my new video showing what we've been canning with our garden harvests. My SSD storage is acting out and I cannot find any of the files anymore. π«£ But hopefully we will get it fixed and up later today! In the meantime, here are some of my favorite harvests this summer! β€οΈπ»

Happy 4th of July!!! πΊπΈ We have a lot of organic Double Standard Sweet Corn growing in an in-ground garden bed, and in a fabric pot I had started Baby Corn, but the squirrels got to them and now there are only 3 plants growing.
Are you growing corn in your garden this year? If you are, let us know what kinds and how you're growing corn in the comments.π½π½π½π½

Happy Friday! π₯³ Merlin is 11 weeks old and getting so big already. Our kiwi berries are hanging(π) in there still. We are starting to see bumble bees more and more. We harvested some potatoes and the summer garden is really starting to grow! Thanks for being here and have a wonderful weekend! ππ

After some strategic dance moves on my part, I caught this guy with the vacuum this morning. ππ» I let him free outside, but of course a tiny wasp would fly in the front door a day after I talk about not seeing many bees or wasps this year. Anyone know what kind this is? My insect identifier says Smiling Mason Wasp. π https://youtu.be/osBBhhYlgFU

I love growing garden beans. π« I enjoy growing pole beans because they're prolific and pretty on the trellis. I also like growing bushing beans because I can grow them anywhere and they do great in containers. What kind do you prefer? Some of my favorites are the Blue Lake pole beans, Royal Burgundy Bushing garden Beans and the Provider Bush Garden beans too. Let me know what your favorites are to grow. π
