what better way to say HELLO OCTOBER than to share some mems from the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice pre-screening that I attended with @youtubecreators in NYC last year! another fun solo trip! when I found out I got selected to attend, I was in florida… AT THE FAKE TODAY’S SHOW SET IN UNIVERSAL STUDIOS and so I was like OMG I HAVE TO TAKE A REAL PHOTO THERE WHEN I GET TO NYC 😂 ALSOOOO it’s a dream of mine to be on that show one day! MANIFESTING!!!
anywho! I loved this wonderful, sweet, short trip — meeting so many amazing NYC YouTubers (shoutout to @avalene.r my toothy friend), as well as fellow BEETLEJUICE fans, getting to try that salad place (sweetgreen) for the first time haha, and just walking around and being a tourist in one of my favorite cities!!!

as this *yoga awareness* month of SEPTEMBER comes to a close… just wanted to reflect on my favorite solo travel trip EVER! last year for my master’s degree graduation gift I went to a yoga resort and IT WAS GLORIOUS! definitely planning to go again for my doctorate graduation gift in 2027! my days were filled with yoga (of course), swimming, reading (I read the first two housemaid books on that trip), eating, HAVING SPICY MOCKTAILS (as seen in photo), walking/hiking, I even went to a SILENT DISCO dance party where we wore headphones and danced to music under moonlight 🌙🪩 IDK Y’ALL it was A VIBE and I CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK IN 2027! honestly thinking about going back is getting me through this challenging semester of schoolwork LOL! you do what ya gotta do to motivate yourself!!!! of course school will all be worth it in the end once I get my degree — BUT GOING BACK TO THIS RESORT?!? THAT IS A PRIORITY RIGHT NEXT TO GETTING THAT DEGREE LOL! ps regarding the last photo in this carousel… don’t worry about my shoulders they sometimes pop out 😂🤪🫠 that time I remember didn’t hurt because I didn’t even notice until I saw the pic hahahaha EXHIBIT A OF WHY YOGA HELPS MY DOUBLE JOINTED BODY 💪 BECAUSE PRE-YOGA LIFE my shoulders constantly would be in pain! WHEN IN MIAMI: I stumbled upon some F1 events (and I’m not pretending to know anything about it but felt it was photo-worthy), got to see MY COUSIN @pip2andahalf !!! we both happened to be passing though Miami at the same time, AND my sweet friend @meganlwaltman ALSO happened to be at the same place at the same time, then hung out with the sweetest kids babysitting my lil pals was so so cute, and then got to relax with lots of yoga, reading, eating — all the vacay vibes! PS THIS TRIP WAS 5 MONTHS AGO LOL but I’m currently reminiscing to get myself motivated during this challenging semester of school 🤪🫠 it’s gonna be OKAYYY 💪 next week I get to go to CA for ADHA! counting down the days! thankful to be in school tho! I’m so so so so thankful! just so so so stressed at the same time!! hahaha ahhhhhh

just found out september is *National Yoga Awareness Month* and I am HERE for it! I first got into yoga back in 2018 (shoutout @yogawithadrienehere on YouTube) then started taking some in-person classes around town. now I do peloton yoga every single dayyyyy (shoutout to the @OnePelotonapp) and when I’m on vacay… nothing beats yoga on the BEACHHH 🌊☀️
so since this month is all about awareness, I just wanted to share my love for yoga! we always talk about dental health, physical health, etc—but mental health and keeping our minds strong doesn’t always get the attention it deserves. honestly though, yoga is both: mental AND physical. literally I couldn’t even hold a plank in 2018, and now I can do a SIDE CROW 🦅! well not perfectly but it’s getting CLOSE and yoga is a PRACTICE! a practice that I love practicing!
