As an undergrad law student, I became fascinated with the philosophy of law, I added political philosophy a little later and then ethics, and almost by accident, aesthetics. Iâve always been amazed at how much all those old dead Greek guys knew and understood our world even though theyâd all expired long before it was even dreamt of. But of course, what they actually knew was human nature, and that hasnât changed.
What this channel aims to do is apply the wisdom and teachings of ancient and not so ancient philosophies and social systems to the present day. Every episode will be geared to showing how these nuggets of wisdom can be used to fuel our personal development.
The initial roll out will cover 12 to 15 âphilosophiesâ and/or systems with each philosophy having between 8 and 10 episodes. Uploads will occur twice per week.
Once this part of the project is complete, Iâll turn my attention to producing a series on political philosophy. Thank you.
