WHERE AND WHY I'VE BEEN AWAY FOR THREE YEARS. And whether or not I plan on coming back.
In this post I'll break down and tell you everything that's been happening to me for the last 3 years and how it's been hindering me from running my channel. By happy coincidence, I posted the last video a couple days before the war in Ukraine started. This event had irreversible consequences for my channel. I was shocked and discouraged by this disgusting step of my state, besides I could not transfer money from YouTube monetization, as Russian banks were restricted due to sanctions. I was also preparing for my final exams at school and I had no free time at all to create videos. I eventually passed my exams well and got into a prestigious university in another city. There I had no access to a computer and for a whole year I was cut off from the possibility to draw new maps. But. I eventually dropped out. Yes, I dropped out at the end of 2023, returned to my hometown, and decided to continue my youtube activity. I was pretty much motivated, moreover through a partner bank from Kazakhstan I managed to set up a channel to get money from YouTube monetization. I was now able to earn money from my creativity. However, in August 2024, the unexpected happened - all Google payment accounts registered in Russia were blocked. I was deprived of any means of livelihood, lost motivation to continue making videos and was generally depressed. Only thanks to a miracle and one wonderful person (my colleague) I was able to register a new account six months later (in January 2025), already in Kazakhstan. I can get money again and devote myself to creating videos, which.... Almost ready!!! The topic of the next video will be the Western Front of the First World War and.... I assure you, it will be the best and most accurate that you have seen on youtube on this topic. It won't be any better, I promise you that. I am studying the history of every commune in Belgium and France affected by the war, studying every battle. Now I'm very motivated to keep working, but I still can't give you an exact date.... Hopefully in the spring of 2025 you will see this masterpiece.

The year 2023 is coming to an end, and I would like to congratulate everyone reading this post. Despite all the turmoil the world is going through during this difficult period, I would like to believe that this year you have had many happy events that you will remember with warmth after a while. Many of you noticed my abrupt disappearance and stagnation on the channel. Different theories were built: from banal statements that I forgot the password from the channel, to the frightening possibility of mobilization into the army of the Russian Federation and sending to the war in Ukraine. As you can guess, none of these theories were confirmed. I also consider it important to emphasize that my opinion about this conflict has remained unchanged since the first day of the war. This is absolutely unjustified, cruel and despicable aggression of the Russian Federation and personally dictator Putin against the brotherly people of Ukraine. This war is alien to the Russian people, and certainly not to the Ukrainian people. All the rhetoric about protecting the people of Donbas and denazification is just a brazen lie and a cover-up.

It's been almost 3 months since the last video was released and I'm finally getting in touch. You can think that I'm ready to present you the progress of my next video, but, unfortunately, no... I still haven't started working on a new map just because I have to devote all my free time to school. I'm in the last 11th grade of the Russian school and at the end of May-beginning of June I have to write final exams (ЕГЭ, русские поймут). For this reason, not one video will be released in the near future. My channel becomes abandoned indefinitely...
This is the schedule of my exams:

3 June - Maths
6 June - History
9 June - Social Science
