This YT version includes 2 full lesson segments of the the 9 lesson segments that are in the full lesson video. There are also tons of tips, and discussions on some of the common issues I have found on drummers kits, and my own the day AFTER a gig. If you keep your kit tuned up after every gig, it generally stays in tune. So I show you some of the common ways to instantly bring your kit back in tune after a gig. This vid covers a 13" tom, a 16" floor tom, a 22" kick, a 10 lug 14" snare drum, and an 8 lug 14" snare drum. The methods, however, apply to drums of all sizes.

For the leather side these beaters offer incredibly articulate punch, and power while giving you a warm attack. The Hard Leather (which I absolutely LOVE!) is full power, while the Suede seems to take it down just a notch. Both are amazing as you will hear.
For the flannel side, these beaters offer are fully articulate, but with a soft, warm, attack and tone. Perfect for jazz gigs, restaurant gigs, or smaller church services. The XL is simply for when you want a bit more boom in your tone. Thank you for watching.

A 10" x 14" Dyna-sonic Style shell (Proprietary Maple/Polar Shell with 2 Ply Re-rings), but with a traditional clock face style throw off , a huge set of snare wires, AND it's got floor tom legs. Some call it a ballad snare, some call it a snom, but here we call it THE THUNDER TONE, because of it's incredibly huge, and deep tone. Hello everyone. Here's a new drum tuning lesson video drawn from my latest step by step drum tuning lesson at www.kennysharretts.com : "HOW TO TUNE A 13" TOM TO 4 GREAT SOUNDS". In this YouTube highlight reel, I discuss, and demo the four different tunings I do on this Rogers Covington 13" Tom using an Evans Coated G1 Single Ply on the Batter side with a coated stock Ambassador on the reso side. Each tuning is at a different tension, (Low, Medium/Low, Medium/High, and High), which gives you a broad range of tones for your 13" Tom. I also discuss how the tunings of my 16" Floor Tom changed with the tunings of my 13" tom in order to maintain the same interval between the 2 drums, and maintain a consistent style of tone between the 2 drums. All drum sounds are raw from the Earthworks DK7 Drum Mic Kit with no FX, and no EQ so you can clearly hear the pure sounds of the drums VS. somebody's mixing work.
