How many roads must a man walk down before you call him a man? The answer to this question was searched by Bob Dylan, as well as the British author Douglas Adams. In âHitchhikerâs Guide to the Galaxyâ, Douglas Adams proposes a theory, that before being called a man, one must walk down exactly 42 roads, while Bob Dylan merely states that the answer is blowing in the wind.
The first step in our quest to find the answer was the journey from Riga, Latvia to its antipode â âThe Road Less Travelled to the Place Furthest Awayâ expedition.
In September 2014 the adventure began and we crossed 15 countries over 15 months time to reach New Zealand. In May 2016 we erected a sign pointing to Latvia on the furthest inhabited place from our homes â Pitt Island in New Zealand. This channel is a collection of the videos we created on our travel or in relation to it.
