4resh (pronounced Fresh), the laid-back lyrical mastermind, is an up and coming hip hop artist from the South Side of Chicago’s Roseland community (Commonly referred to as part of “The Wild 100s”). 4resh’s 1st passions in life were family, education, basketball and rapping. Being a fan of hip hop music since being introduced to it, 4resh has been rapping and writing lyrics since the age of 4, after learning to read at 3. Rap influences include Rakim, LL Cool J, 2Pac, Ice Cube, Outkast, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Notorious B.I.G., Busta Rhymes, DMX, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, T.I., Fabolous, 50 Cent and undoubtedly the Chicago natives Kanye West, Bump J, Twista, and Do Or Die. 4resh was given the moniker by his father (due to his hip hop origins and quick wits) and became known to friends and family by that name.
