Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) is a wildlife conservation action institution, established in 1998 in response to the growing challenges facing India’s wildlife and natural habitats. Its mission is to conserve wildlife and its habitats, and to work for the welfare of individual wild animals, in partnership with communities and government agencies.
WTI's central mandate is wildlife crisis management—delivering timely, effective, and science-based interventions to safeguard animals, species, and habitats in distress. The organisation is committed to preventing and mitigating threats through practical, on-ground solutions that drive meaningful and lasting conservation impact.
