Happy New Year!
Posted 1200Z on January 3rd, 2025.
2024 was the year of Simplex. A few re-recorded overviews is all that's left for the backlog. I will make a return to Simplex in the future, once the 4120 network is completed.
2025 will be the year of Honeywell... specifically Farenhyt, Fire-Lite, Gamewell-FCI, Notifier, and Silent Knight!
My planned schedule is 3 fire alarm panel overviews each month, which should be enough to cover all the panels I have. For the year-end finale, I plan to demonstrate a complete fire alarm network NOTI-FIRE-NET, which is shaping up to be a sizeable system.
With this schedule, I'm planning to simplify the video layout: more show, less talking. My goal is to keep these videos informative and entertaining within a concise format. As always, if anything is unclear, I'm more than willing to clarify things in the comments!
This year will begin with older panels, slowly progressing to modern-day. I will be moving between conventional and addressable fire alarm panels, in a loose chronological order.
There's a lot of panels to cover this year, some of which may be familiar to many enthusiasts!
Stay tuned!

Happy National Fire Alarm Day!

Look out for a new Fire Alarm Compilation premiering this evening! This compilation will feature new devices that weren't seen in the previous compilation.
It's been roughly a year since I've been in the fire alarm community. While I cannot deny some of the drama that happens here, I do appreciate the generosity and the passion that many show in the space. Between collecting and demonstration, there's a lot to learn in this hobby. I do hope that the community can help spread this knowledge, as I will continue to strive for in my overview videos!

Just getting back to things after taking a short break from YouTube stuff. I'm trying a new video format going forward; should make things easier for me and improve the quality of the information shared!
Besides that, I'm active in a few Discord servers and still collecting lots of panels (though that should be ending soon). I have videos planned for most of my collection in the future.
Stay tuned!

In a previous post, I mentioned some videos from the "vault" that I was reuploading. It seems the videos retained their original publish dates, so they wouldn't be visible in feeds or the home page.
Below are links to the reuploaded content:
- Seismic Event (my first-ever EAS scenario): https://youtu.be/8QppvtOglX8
- EAS Shorts (quick videos using a live EAS alert)

- The Triggering (a troll EAS scenario): https://youtu.be/BfoDsdJwAgw

- Other rereleased content:

That is all the unreleased EAS content I had yet to publish on the channel.
New fire alarm videos will begin rolling out later today.

My last and final (official) EAS scenario will premiere at 11:30 PM Eastern Time this evening.
You can watch the scenario here: https://youtu.be/i-Pg5ccmHGU
At midnight, I will be officially semi-retiring from EAS content.
It has been a pleasure to be a part of the EAS community. Next year, I will begin to explore fire alarm systems. Please see the previous community post for more information on changes to the channel in 2024.
Thank you!

As we approach the end of the year (and my semi-retirement from EAS), I have gone through and reviewed all unreleased, privated, and unlisted content. This will make up the bulk of the content on this channel till mid-January 2024. Here's what will be released during the period:
- Everyday to December 31st, 2 videos and a short will be released containing non-alert weather radio content. These are random clips of NOAA Weather Radio on and before 2016 (a.k.a CRS-era with Tom, Donna, and old Paul voices). I didn't know what to do with these initially but at this point, I think it's a nice way of preserving old footage of NOAA weather radio.
- My last "official" EAS Scenario will be premiering on December 31st at or around 11:30 PM ET.
- My first-ever EAS scenario, made back in 2015, will be re-released on January 1st, 2024.
- For the 1st half of January, old EAS "shorts" will be re-released. There are not Shorts per se, more short EAS videos using real audio but a simulated video.
- A troll EAS scenario I regrettably published back in 2020.
- Lastly, an unfinished EAS scenario that was originally uploaded in 2018.
- December 2023 EAS alerts, although I expect this to only be a few videos.
This just about summarizes all the EAS content I have left, after digging through the vaults for old content. As mentioned before, any new content related to the EAS will be sporadic after January 2024. Fire alarm content will begin in earnest by mid-January 2024.
Thank you!

It has been a long and fun journey, but I have finally decided to semi-retire from EAS content. I still plan to post EAS content till the end of the year, mostly in the form of shorts, as well as 2 more EAS scenarios. More details below...
As hinted in the past couple of months, it was time for me to move on to other interests. This decision was made by myself, coinciding with major life changes in mid-2022. While I will move on, I do wish the EAS community the best in future endeavors, and I will check in periodically for the forseeable future.
In regards to content on this channel, the rest of this year will be mostly re-uploads of old "short" content that was removed. I do not plan to record EAS alerts next year, but I'll make exceptions for severe weather events when they occur. That being said, EAS content will be sporadic in 2024.
There are 2 more EAS scenarios that will be uploaded to this channel. The first will go public at 8 PM ET on December 1st. This is the longest scenario I made this year. No premiere as this was admittedly my least favorite scenario of the batch. The second and last scenario will premiere at the end of the year, and it will be the final scenario I plan to publish.
Starting next year, my channel will transition to more fire alarm-related content. I plan to post longer videos on some fire alarm equipment I have collected in the past year. I'm aiming for 2-3 videos per month. My goal for these videos is to continue a mostly hobbyist setting, while also providing detailed and informative content. While I do not have any professional experience, I do hope to provide educational content to those in the community, as well as any ordinary viewers who may not have such knowledge. This has been my mindset with my hobbies in recent years, and I hope to pursue this further in the future.
I generously thank everyone who has supported me during my years as an EAS content creator. Whether you will continue to follow my content or explore other creators, I hope you continue to find content that resonates with you and provides entertainment to many others online.

A reboot of Dark Storm will be premiering at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT.
You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/wVLIAIVJvJ8
This reboot is a better representation of what I originally had for this scenario. It is no longer a sequel to The Infection, which was never my true intention.

Happy Halloween! I posted a short scenario to celebrate the holiday.
Watch here: https://youtu.be/n15imv84TzU
After some consideration, I have also decided to re-release an old scenario: The Infection: Part II, now officially called Dark Storm. The scenario's content has been left unchanged, I only changed the intro to match my other recent scenarios.
You can watch that scenario here: https://youtu.be/06hAMzNKiFo
A remake of Dark Storm will be premiering November 1st, 2023 at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT. Stay tuned!

I am officially beginning to post fire alarm content to this channel. The first video will be a compilation of various devices I have collected over roughly a year.
Enjoy!
Note: EAS content (and scenarios) will continue as previously stated, through at least early 2024. The channel is currently in a transitional phase, and fire alarm content will likely replace all EAS content later next year. I will be making some minor changes to the channel throughout the rest of 2023. More updates to follow...

A channel dedicated to Fire Alarm and Emergency Alert System (EAS) content.
Greetings!
My channel is a way for me to share my hobbies!
I mostly specialize in fire alarm content, in the hobbyist setting. My goal is to make informative content for everyone.
I'm a shy introvert; I quietly reside on some Discord servers.
Thank you for visiting!
