I started this channel to post my trumpet audio files. The "video" portion of my posts are very minimal, as the main purpose is not for the video, but for the audio. I have been playing the trumpet (and other instruments) for over 53 years! I haven't played in quite a while and haven't been in a band in decades. I was in various bands, orchestras and ensembles at the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. However, I was NOT a music major. I majored in Business Administration (Management). My music career, as far as playing in any groups, ending shortly after college. However, I played a lot at home and also played a few small ditties here and there and played Taps for funerals. My musical range has included groups such as: concert wind band, marching band, orchestra, trumpet and brass ensembles, jazz big band ensembles, rhythm & blues/funk groups. My favorite is playing lead in jazz big bands. I have played many genres including classical, pop, rock, jazz, rhythm & blues, funk.
