New soon to be released G-Shock GAV01. Pictures have already leaked, but here are the first clear pictures of all 4 models. They use a new module 5751. What do you think? Hmmm....

I have been getting some backlash over my video on the preview for the Casio A130WE. Some commenters saying that it was fake or AI generated, simply because none of the larger channels were talking about it.
Well, the A130WE is now shown on the Casio UK site under the 'coming soon' section and it looks like I got the specs and technical details correct. Stay subscribed to Wrist Action for a full review when the watch is released.

In my review of the DW290, I was wondering if it had been discontinued as it was difficult to obtain new (at least for me). Casio has confirmed that it has indeed been discontinued:

"Unfortunately, this model has been discontinued and it cannot be pruchase on our UK website.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused."

Casio WS-1700H Quality Issues.

I made a video about the announcement of the WS-1700H back in December 2023, and it still hasn't arrived in the UK. So I ordered one from a European site to review for the channel in January 2024, but the delivery for that has also been delayed.

Here is the message from the supplier:

"Good morning,
We would like to contact you today regarding your order.
We inform you that the Casio brand is experiencing a quality problem on the Casio WS-1700 range
regarding defective models.
Casio announces a marketing deadline not before June, July for the WS-1700H-1AVEF Watch.
Please note that all of our services are working to track your order.
We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience."

I wonder what the defect is? Presumably the first batch of watches that has already been released in the U.S. must have this defect.

Casio are reviving the Casiotron name with the release of the TRN-50 in 2024. They have updated it for the 21st Century by using a new 3542 module. The module will have tough solar, bluetooth connectivity and multiband 6. The case and band will be made of quality stainless steel and manufactured in Japan. Bad news is that the price will be around $500 and limited to 4000 Units. However, the upcoming WS-1700H will be more attainable. Check out all you need to know about it here: https://youtu.be/FIs85nvRJCE

A new colourway for the A700 was recently released, the A700WEMS-1BEF. Casio says that it was inspired by the mood of vintage space and science fiction. All I know is that it is very nice looking.

Hello Watch Lovers! Some of you may have seen my video 10 Watches That Shaped The World in which I talk about the PANERAI wearing Italian Navy divers using manned torpedos to carry out a daring raid in Alexandria during WWII to disable two Royal Navy battleships. Two years ago, I got to see one of these crafts in real life at a museum in Rome. If you haven't seen this video, check it out here: https://youtu.be/Tv0EXSp_9ls
