There is a reality within your nature dragging you toward your lowest self.
You must win this battle daily.
The more you let it win, the more it eats you, until it devours you.
Not going to bed, not getting up, not doing the work, not eating the food, not moving your body, not praying, letting your thoughts, emotions, or circumstances control your behavior... all of those daily things you should be doing, but don't do for some excuse or another... little by little allows the enemy against you to gain ground.
The more you execute and overcome those daily moments of resistance, the weaker and quieter the enemy gets, and the stronger and closer to God you get.
