Hi YouTube fam!! 💕
No video today since so many things are going on IRL.
I'm really hoping to get the medellín vlogs up very soon!
I'm also working on nursing videos as well as more self development videos. (let me know what you're curious about?)
In the mean time, I posted a life update video where I talked about where I am currently, my goals for the rest of the year, my nursing career and how my youtube journey is going.
I hope you are having a nice weekend!

Hello new friends! I noticed that many of you have subscribed to my channel because of my travel nursing content.
I’d love to make a nursing video, let me know what questions do you have!!
Or if you’re not here for nursing content, shoot your self improvement questions. I got you there 😉

Okay, this is insane! I went to bed with 1200 subs last night and this morning, very surprised to see so many of you.
I appreciate every single one of you.
Honestly I feel shy “posting” here cause I feel like I’m not “big enough”. (FYI, it’s just an excuse)
But I really do want to get to know you all, since I pretty much show up to help you 😂
Anyways, in the spirit of getting to know you, I thought we could play a little game. Tell me where you’re from and share something you need help with, and if you’d like to get advice from strangers on the internet (be nice please!), let us know.
I’ll go first:
Hi I’m from Canada. And these days I struggle to show up with DGAF energy on Instagram because I have friends and family there and I also don’t wanna make a brand new account lol 😂 What would you do if you were me?

Hello hello! The last month has been so exciting since I’m seeing so many more of you here on my channel.
Whether you found me through my nursing or personal development videos, welcome! I’ve been doing a lot of inner work so I can show up better for you. I’m so excited to create content for you.
And I’m also very excited what the next year will bring. And I hope that you continue to join me in this journey.
And to get to know you a bit better, comment down below what your favourite drink is 👇
(I used to be a tea person but now can’t go a day without a cappuccino)

Hello old and new friends!
It’s been awhile since I posted something here. Just wanted to give you a little bit of updates:
• I finally finished my 3 month contract as a travel nurse in Nova Scotia
• I got sick twice during this contract and still recovering from the second illness
• I’m moving in the next couple of months
Needless to say, my YouTube presence will be inconsistent for awhile until I finally settle into our new place in the fall.
I’ve been thinking a lot about shifting to a more lifestyle content but still focus on personal development for my upcoming videos. I figured since I have a small audience I can keep experimenting until I find what works for me and you.
Anyways, I’m curious, what makes you subscribe to a channel (or specifically, my channel). Do you subscribe because of the content or the creator, or a mix of both? Would really love to hear your thoughts. 🙏

Hello friends!
I'm happy to share that I finally found a contract that works for me, and I'll be traveling to Nova Scotia, another province in Canada.
But this decision didn't come easy to me.
I had to turn down another equally good contract.
So today, I'd love to talk about learning how to make tough decisions. I couldn't decide between two good assignments.
During this process, I consulted my husband and a couple of friends.
But the problem with consulting friends or family is that they come with their own biases.
For instance, my husband would prefer one assignment because we would be closer to each other. And my other travel nursing friend would go for the money (because he also has experience in it).
So instead of listening to others, a better question for yourself is this:
"What do I want to get out of this experience?"
When I started travel nursing, I wanted to experience it for the sake of experiencing. But now, I must choose the opportunity that serves my goals (financial freedom).
This means that the assignment needs to satisfy the following:
- Very high pay
- Time to create YouTube videos
- Good workload
- Gives me a sense of adventure
Doing the Ontario assignment would've satisfied the first two but not the last two.
My friends in Nova Scotia informed me that the workload is good, and also, traveling to a new place is always a plus for me.
What makes this decision so tough is the fact that there are different pros on each side. It’s a big pro to spend summer at home with friends and family while also getting paid well.
But I’m craving something new, so I decided to go with the more *uncomfortable* option.
It's a matter of what you want to experience.
If you're having difficulty deciding, I hope this framework helps you.
