22yr old
in September 2023 River was diagnosed with cancer the vet said they can give him surgery since it’s early on but, they said bc he was 22 he might die from the surgery.we put him on prescribed medication. In mid October He wasn’t drinking, eating his fav treats/grain, going in the pasture, lying in the sun, or standing in his fav corner.we took him to the vet. they said the best thing to do is to put him down. It was really tough, but we knew we couldn’t let him suffer. So we had to put him down November 4 of 2023.miss him so much fly high buddy💔🕊️
