I started my YouTube channel on January 4th, 2018 and had originally focused on streaming. I never really thought it would go anywhere. It took until August 1st, 2019 for me to actually post my first video and it’s still public on my channel today. Quite frankly, it’s not a very good video, at least not by my standards. However, something in me clicked while I was making it. I was able to write, record, and edit however I wanted to. I was able to create something about a game, a genre, and an industry I was passionate about. I could add to the conversation, I could start my own, and I finally found a community of people that were interested in the same things I was, to the same degree I was. Time management has never been my strong suit, and while my video posting schedule has fluctuated greatly, I never stopped wanting to create. As I sit here writing this nearly seven years later, having just received my #YouTubeCreatorAwards I am immensely grateful for each and every one of you who gave me the time of day. From the bottom of my heart: Thank you.
